Components Explained...
Write out or type out and print out a set of statements that declare truths that you want to be reality - they may already be reality, or at least partly so, but state them as if they are definite reality and in a manner that makes you excited, enthusiastic, lights you up and reshapes your daily inner commentary. Read these daily just before you begin meditating
1st 5 minutes: moving and breathing
Start walking, jogging or bouncing on a trampoline and breathing in the breath pattern described in the video at the start of this blog post. Also remember to tap your fingers in the method detailed in that same video.
2nd 5 minutes:
Start thinking of, and ideally saying out loud all the things that you're grateful for.
3rd 5 minutes:
Start saying thank you for all the things you envision in your life (dreams and goals) as if they are already present reality.
The sequence of these 3 5 minute segments will create such an emotional momentum that these goals and dreams will start to really feel as if you actually can achieve them, and this excitement will carry your mind and body into powerful action in alignment with those goals becoming real.
Sit in a comfortable position with your back rested against a support and your legs crossed for 5 to 20 minutes. During this time, gently try to focus on a single thing - like your breath, or a candle flame, or simple sound in your head - like the sound "Om" or "Ha". When you notice your mind has wondering from this single point of focus, simply allow it to return to the point of focus. For more detailed instruction of how to meditate in this way please see my other post on Meditation by clicking here.
As you meditate if important thoughts or actions come to you, write them down in short hand on a nearby notepad.
When you finish meditating and have a list of ideas that came to you during meditation, or during your 15 minutes of magic, then look them over and think about which one of them that - if you completed that "to do" item today - would make the biggest difference in your life and would make all of the other items on the list either not important or easier to achieve. Circle that one "to do" item and either complete it right then or set a sufficient block of time later in the day to work on completing that one thing.
You can easily do google searches nowadays and quickly find images that bring to heart and mind the states, possessions, skills and goals that you seek for your own life. Compile them all together in a place you can and often do see on a daily basis - like your phone's screen saver or a wall in your bedroom or bathroom, and print out those visions in a collage - or upload them onto a private vision board online using a tool like Pinterest. Whatever works for you, pull those dream images together and look at them daily, ideally somewhere where you do your meditation or your 15 minutes of magic - like next to your mini trampoline while you shout out all the things you're grateful for. You'll get super high and your ideal's will very likely start flying into your life as realities with all the enthusiasm and belief you generate through these practices.
